LARP Portal was designed to support all browsers. However, there are some portions of the site that don't always function as intended in anything but Chrome. The best example of this is the Character Skills screen. For some reason it doesn't always display the SAVE message and subsequently the changes you make to your character. LARP Portal developers are continuing to explore the issue but for now users will get the best experience when using Chrome.

Answer

Yes, users can change their user name, password and security questions once they are logged into LARP Portal.

If you are logged in:

  1. Select the player PROFILE tab
  2. Select the SECURITY link from the left nav bar
  3. Change USER NAME and click SAVE (You may also change name, password and security question(s)).

If you are not logged in:

  1. Select FORGOT PASSWORD link on Login Screen
  2. Enter your EMAIL ADDRESS
  3. Enter your current USERNAME or, if you have forgotten your user name, select FORGOT Username button
  4. Enter your LAST NAME
  5. Select GET PASSWORD

With an account in LARP Portal you can manage your LARP activity and automate many logistics functions. For example, if you NPC Fifth Gate and PC Madrigal, your CP can be auto approved and assigned to your PC character based on your NPC event registration.

For security reasons, LARP Portal logs a user out after 20 minutes of inactivity.
